Blackout Shutters – Room Darkening Shades
Whilst versatile and insulating, plantation shutters do still let a small amount of light into your home, even when closed.
This is why we offer an integrated room darkening blind system. Snug in its own channel behind the shutter, the room darkening blind provides the functionality of blackout blinds combined with the contemporary look of standard shutters.
Virtually eliminating all external light from the room, it is ideal for nurseries, home cinemas or night workers who need to sleep during the day.
Shutters Without Tilt Rods
Rather than a visible control rod rotating the shutter louvres. The modern, contemporary hidden rod (silent tilt) controls the louvres by a mechanism within the shutter panel itself, meaning that if you tilt one, the others move with it.
This gives the opportunity for split control of the louvres themselves; the top half can open independent of the bottom half for maximum versatility. Try doing that with curtains!

Fixed Louvre Shutters
Using shutters instead of usual wardrobe doors offers so much more flexibility.
Using thinner panels lets you bi-fold easily, taking up less space when the doors are open. Alternatively, our by-pass system uses a track to easily glide the panels past each other.
You can choose whether to opt for solid panels, part-solid panels or fully louvred panels. Louvres can be fixed shut or can be fully adjustable; the latter can help keep your wardrobe well ventilated without needing to open the doors.

Finally, we remove and recycle all packaging for you, and we donate surplus to other local business and charities. This helps to reduce any associated carbon footprint.

Your window shutters are creatively designed to have the fewest points of failure as your chosen style allows for. They are so well made and of such durability that we very rarely have to replace a thing.
